Intel's Ultra 7 270K Plus (270KP) is one of the most promising CPU launches we've seen in a long time, and has some similarities to the Ryzen 1000 and 2000 era of CPUs. The key difference is that Intel's platform is a dead-end, unfortunately, but from a performance standpoint, Intel is showing a lot of positive similarities. In this testing, we benchmark the Intel 270K Plus vs. the 250K Plus, AMD's X3D CPUs (including the 7800X3D, 5800X3D, and 9800X3D), and Intel's predecessors, like the 14700K. Intel's 270K Plus does particularly well in workloads like video editing in DaVinci Resolve and in our code compile test.
