Mark your calendars, AMD to share new info on upcoming Zen and RDNA products at CES 2022

CES 2022, which is scheduled to be held from January 3 to January 8, 2022, is almost upon us and AMD has announced its plans for the event.

The company has said that it will reveal more information on its upcoming CPUs and GPUs during its 2022 Product Premiere Livestream Event which will be held on January 4, and the live stream will be available at 10 a.m. EST on the same day at AMD.com on this page.

Last year, AMD promised that its next-gen Zen 4-based Ryzen processors and RDNA 3-based Radeon graphics cards are "on-track" for 2022 and it looks like the company could be keeping its promise.

However, there are also rumors of the company announcing a Zen 3+ architecture as a stop-gap between Zen 3 and Zen 4 which will be featuring the new 3D V-cache technology. The company claims that the addition of V-cache enables an extra 15% average gaming performance over the current Zen 3 architecture.

We are not sure if Zen 3+ is actually on AMD's roadmap since the company didn't really ever state anything relating to it.

On the other hand, most credible rumors do point towards AMD debuting Land Grid Array (LGA) for its next-gen mainstream Socket AM5 that is set to debut this year. It will also bring DDR5 DRAM support.
