Intel has a Big Problem... - Tech News April 14 [Video]

Trying something new for News. Would appreciate some feedback on what you think about YouTube videos posted as news, thanks.

EDIT: These will be in addition to the usual articles, not replacing them.

Not so keen myself. I read quickly and would much rather read than watch. It's harder to skim meaningfully over a video than text too. I'm unlikely to watch a video linked here.

I nearly always avoid videos when searching for any information; it's getting harder though as everyone and their cat makes videos about everything under the sun. Of course, there are exceptions where an instructional video is golden.

@Karlston Personally, I have always privileged the written news as I can fast read thru the inevitable fillers they use to either bulk up their newspapers or fill up their web space .

With videos you have to sit and endure those fillers or subjectiveness of the presenters. Sure, you get that too in the written form except that it's less "in your face"

On a practical and universal note, there would be nothing to physically quote from if one felt the desire to comment.

I´ll sit on the fence on this.

I don't mind if (as you say above) there are videos and written articles.

By coincidence I was watching a video earlier about recommended and

not recommended software to have installed, and I quite enjoyed it.
