Another PlayStation exclusive game may be about to get a PC announcement. Kojima Productions' Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the latest title that seems to be going multiplatform, at least according to a listing that has gone up on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website.
The Death Stranding 2: On the Beach unannounced port appeared on the official ESRB website without any announcements from Sony or Kojima Productions and is still available for viewing. The platform is clearly listed as Windows PC, with the title also keeping the original Mature 17+ rating from the ESRB due to the "Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, Strong Language, and Violence," seen in the campaign.
The Sony Interactive Entertainment-published action game from director Hideo Kojima first released on the PlayStation 5 back in June 2025. The sequel brings back the open-world traversal gameplay from the original, but with a Mexico and Australia setting this time. The story picks up 11 months after the previous campaign, with Sam Porter Bridges returning as the protagonist as he attempts to connect more pockets of civilization.
The original Death Stranding from 2019 was also a PlayStation exclusive, but a PC version appeared only a few months after the launch. An Xbox launch happened in 2024. It's unclear if a similar timetable is being followed for the sequel too. Keep in mind that the first game's publishing duties for platforms other than PlayStation were handled by 505 Games, but this time it looks like Sony is handling that department.
While an official announcement is yet to be made, the upcoming The Game Awards showcase may be where the PC port of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will get announced. The title is up for multiple awards including Game of the Year, and Hideo Kojima has a history of appearing on the show to reveal his projects.
