10-inch Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 out now with ten-finger touch for $80

Raspberry Pi has released the 10-inch variant of the Touch Display 2. It will set you back $80 and is not compatible with some Raspberry Pi hardware.

Raspberry Pi has just announced a new size variant for its Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2. The company has already come out with a 7-inch version in 2024 and a 5-inch version in 2025, and now it is adding to the roster with a new 10-inch version, available today from $80.

The UK company has not only upgraded the size of the display, it has also come with a higher screen resolution of 1200x1920, a more generous 85-degree viewing angle, and a touchscreen controller with support for ten-finger touch, up from five-finger touch in the 5-inch and 7-inch models.

The new 10-inch Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 works seamlessly with other modern devices from the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. For example, it is powered directly from the host Raspberry Pi and comes with the necessary cables, connectors, and mounting hardware. Raspberry Pi OS has full driver support for the touchscreen out of the box with no manual configuration necessary.

One of the most disappointing things about this monitor is that it is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4 or earlier models, or with the Raspberry Pi Zero series. This is because this display requires four DSI lanes which is not supported by older devices. If you want a display for those, you’ll want a previously released Touch Display.
