Yesterday, we covered all the new features that Microsoft added to Excel during the month of February 2026. However, there were not that many capabilities to speak of, with Windows and Mac receiving just two enhancements combined. Now, Microsoft has detailed all the new features it added to Teams during the month, and thankfully, the list is as long as it usually is.

Starting off with improvements to chat and collaboration, we have the ability to forward up to five messages simultaneously, while preserving order. Additionally, the Files tab now has a handy preview-based grid format, which allows you to find your content quickly. Moreover, Microsoft has introduced more Trust Indicators for external collaborators that belong to trusted and familiar domains versus unknown domains.

In terms of meeting enhancements, the Redmond tech giant has unified the Copilot experience in Teams meetings across chats, channels, and meetings, so that the interaction surface is similar to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app. In the same vein, meeting recap templates can be customized according to your preferred AI integrations and styling and now include visual indicators too, in the form of thumbnail previews. Other improvements in this area include resizable right and top galleries so you can customize your meeting layout, custom banners for recordings and transcriptions to be leveraged by IT admins, and network strength indicators.

As usual, we also have new devices certified for Microsoft Teams. These include:

    • Lenovo ThinkSmart Tiny Kit
    • Lenovo ThinkSmart One Pro with ThinkSmart or IP Controller
    • Lenovo Wired VoIP Headset 5000
    • Biamp Vidi 280
    • Biamp Vidi Content Cam 250
    • Biamp All-in-One Video Bar Parlé VBC 2800 and Parlé VBC 2800 Teams Rooms system

While these are most of the mainstream improvements, Microsoft also has more features in tow for Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, and IT admins. You can find out more details in the company's blog post here.
