Shortly after releasing its first December 2025 update for all supported Radeon Graphics cards, AMD pushed a new chipset driver for supported motherboards. AMD Chipset Software 7.11.26.2142 is now available for download with official support for Windows 11 version 25H2 (which was released over two months ago) and some bug fixes. Here is the changelog:
- Windows 11 25H2 OS support added
- Installer EULA is updated
- Bug fixes.
And here is the list of known bugs:
- After installing the AMD Chipset Installer version “7.xx.xx.xx”, users cannot install version “6.xx.xx.xx” or earlier.

Workaround:
- Uninstall the latest version of the AMD Chipset installer (version 7.xx.xx.xx or later).
- Delete the “Qt_Dependencies” folder located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\Chipset_Software\".
- Install any older version of the AMD Chipset installer (version 6.xx.xx.xx or earlier).
- On a non-English OS, some driver names may appear in English.
- Occasionally, Ryzen PPKG may not install or upgrade.
