The massive 4004.4 Snapshot update brings a native PDF reader to your mobile tabs alongside crucial fixes for autofill and settings.
The Vivaldi web browser development build for Android has just been bumped to version 4004.4 and is now available in the Google Play Store. The big feature introduced in this development build is the introduction of the native PDF reader, allowing you to open PDF files from web pages in Vivaldi’s browser tabs instead of needing to use a separate PDF reader app.
Aside from the native PDF reader, there are a whole host of changes, including Autofill-related improvements. Here is the full changelog:
- [New][PDF] Add support to the native PDF reader (VAB-11423)
- [Autofill] Third party autofill shows popup-error for non login input fields. (VAB-12696)
- [Bookmarks] Wrong bookmark editor opened after saving multiple tabs at once as bookmark (VAB-12758)

You can find the Vivaldi Browser Snapshot here on the Google Play Store, or just do a search yourself for Vivaldi Browser Snapshot and it should appear with a black Vivaldi logo. Vivaldi notes that there may be a delay between the announcement and the actual software being available as the Play Store pushes out the updates. If you don’t want to wait, check out the alternative downloads in the announcement.
