Situation:

When you uninstalled antivirus products through Windows Programs list or Add/Remove Programs and the process failed. Wondering what to do? Not to worry, anti-virus vendors know that sometimes there are issue with uninstallation of applications so have seperate utilities to remove them incase of problems!

Updated.

Yes - you should update the uninstallers - at least ESET`s is very old ( is for nod32 v.2.5 ) and unofficial .

Now ( 06.2011 ) there is an official uninstaller tool on ESET`s site : http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2289

There are two versions to download - one for Windows Vista/Home Server/XP/2003 R2/2003/2000 and another one for Windows 7/2008 R2/2008
