Could be helpful, but....:

with this key 3000 Plus days.

for those cant get enough;-)

http://rghost.net/49381600

'Neues Textdokument.txt' is there and is just a zero byte file.

Would love to know what magic was supposed to be in there, please ?!?

Has anyone tried Webroot vs. Nod32 and have comments comparing them ??

Also - the downloads are each around 700kb - assuming these are downloaders of some sort...

Any full, offline installers for these ??

Thanks.

thanks

I am testing many AVs per year for more than 15 years, I believe WSA is the lightest with the fastest booting next gen AV, that still has some bugs though

its good enough for me though, gotta love the system tray right click and shutdown everything immediately comparing with the ESET right click choose couple of options to shutdown AV then same procedure to shutdown the FW to end up with a stupid tray icon, that can't be changed in settings, informing you indefinitely for a decision that you took to disable the precious ESET protection

Hi, I have tried them both for long time. I even had 6 months paid subscription with webroot, mainly in view of the very low price, $15 for 5 pcs and 25 GB online storage. Believe it or not the 700 kb is the installer and there is no further download. This is also what is installed in the program files, an executable >800 kb. WSA is lighter than NOD32, in respect of faster PC boot and way faster and unobtrusive PC scanning. It doesn't keep signature locally in your PC as NOD32 does, instead everything is kept in the cloud. Now the new version has a better interface and is more

Of course there are NOD32 advantages, especially the suite has much better firewall, excellent hips and I consider it more stable ATM.

You should definitely try it, there is also a six months trial, which is very fair, its something different than your usual AV.

Thanks AEK21.

Presently using just the AV of NOD32 - not the suite, and a separate firewall app.

This sounds very good the way you describe it.

Not quite certain that I feel comfortable with an AV that is so absolutely cloud-based.

Something about having the app and it's sigs right here rather than depending upon having internet access is comforting...?

I may try it at some point (I haven't ever tried WSA yet), but not on my main PC I think.

Thanks.

after used it for 6 months I feel pretty confident with cloud based WSA. Its interface used to be awful but now it has evolved better.Eset with NOD32 early years, like v.2 had also terrible interface but with slow steps has now one of the best. I think you cannot use just the AV with WSA as you do now with NOD, because you won't be protected.Firewall and identity shield are part of the AV protection and are included in the AV product. Even like this its the lightest. I think you can try it together with NOD32 AV

WSA is very light and this 2-year fix does work - however, based on my testing WSA does not afford good protection against back-door rootkits (unless you pair it with something like Sandboxie or Shadow Defender)!
