uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Thanks to SacredCultivator for the update.

@SacredCultivator: Did you try the 64bit version?

Nope, a bit hesitant, since someone asked about the benefits, and if it's onyl Disk Cache, I'll pass on that.

But apart from that, other users seem to be reporting other issues. Not a big deal to me, but seems pretty major for others.

I'll probably switch to 64-bit if I see more benefits to it, or when it at least hits Beta.

Well 64bit should mean that the OS doesn't have to emulate the software, but that's besides. I did read their forum posts about the disk cache difference. I may try it when it reaches stable if not beta. :P But yeah, looks too much of a alpha right now, maybe they should name it Pre-Alpha.

Definitely... Hmm since you mention the emulation of it... Does that contribute much at all?

Definitely if I read more positive comments about the upcoming updates of it, I'll give it a shot when majority of the comments become praises than whining/bug reports.

Here, this page should be enough. So basically, a 32bit software isn't native for 64bit OS and has to be emulated, though that not being very hard. That does mean that having a 64bit software is a sort of WIN for a 64bit OS.

But from the looks of the comments on the uTorrent forums, I feel it needs some time before being stable for alpha.
