It has been 18hrs and still no links. What is the point in posting it if the links don't give you the new version, just wait until it has been released before posting it.

The point is to inform the users of this software that a new version is available and how to access it, What's the point of your unnecessary comment?

updating via the application does not update it from v5.3.8. The offline installer is v5.3.8, the online installer is v5.3.7. None of these are v5.4.0. You should just wait until the 5.4.0 offline installer is posted before announcing a new version as people waste their time trying to download only to realise it isn't available.

Once again, you're in the wrong place. This should have been directed to the developer of this software, as here we only announce what software developers release.

No one hired you to represent "people." As I mentioned in my previous post, there's a HUGE note at the top of the main topic stating that links are not available. You should pay attention and read it before just going ahead and start downloading, as those messages only appear when there's something important to notify members about.
