Rudy5 195
WindowManager helps you to improve your work flow by remembering and restoring the position and size of your programs and windows. Many programs don't remember their position and size between sessions and even Windows Explorer does not restore windows to their last position under Windows 7 or higher. This is where WindowManager steps in and makes sure your windows are placed exactly where you want them every time you open them. WindowManager even allows you to lock the position and size of any window, so that it will always open at the same spot no matter where you move it. The window handling is fully customizable and you can set up special rules for your favorite or most frequently used windows. You can also make WindowManager send keystrokes or mouse-clicks to a program when its window is opened, run additional programs and other advanced actions. With WindowManager, you can also minimize most windows to the system tray. Furthermore, WindowManager supports and enhances the virtual desktop functions of Windows 10 (switching desktops with Hot-Keys, individual desktop icons, etc.) Key Features Remembers and restores the position and size of your programs and windows Supports explorer windows, programs, dialogs, etc. Configurable rules for moving or sizing only, activating, closing windows, etc. Advanced actions for typing text into windows, pressing keys, clicking mouse buttons, etc. Can be configured to work like "Save Workspace" for Excel users Multi-monitor support Multiple profiles Powerful trigger system for profile switching Hot-key support Minimize windows to the system tray area Windows 10 virtual desktop support + enhancements (hot-keys, individual desktop icons, etc.) Fully customizable Silent installation and uninstallation for mass deployment Especially designed for Windows 10 Homepage: http://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm Dowbload: http://www.desksoft.com/Download/WMSetup.exe Changelog: http://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager_Version.htm Medicine: Site: https://www.mirrored.to Sharecode: /files/1PKGYMB5/ Portable (x64): Site: https://www.mirrored.to Sharecode: /files/18OXXKXL/ Edited January 27 by Rudy5 rushdie and PLASMA
click-click 17
Is the portable version patched or even tested? Launching it = This demo version has expired!
Rudy5 195
I just retested this in both windows 7 and 10 (only 64 bit) and it seems to work fine. Do tou have 32 bit? Site: https://uploadrar.com Sharecode: /a3jzx5l7jzir Try this and see, it's made with xenocode, it's the previous version Edited January 26 by Rudy5 rushdie
click-click 17
Yes, I happen to be on 32-bit right now. Only works on 64-bit?
Rudy5 195
I guess so, i don't have a 32 bit machine
Rudy5 195
I don't think that the patch is only for 64 bit. What you can do if you wanna use the portable, is install it, patch it yourself and replace the files in the App folder. Use sandboxie cause it leaves some traces behind if you install it in your real system and then uninstall it. I hope that was clear
click-click 17
the xenocode version returned error. That format is not very transparent. Yap is much better in this area I will try the install ..... route. Thank you for your time. Edited January 26 by click-click
Rudy5 195
Probably because it's made in 64 bit system, i'm not familiar
Rudy5 195
Don't change the paths during installation, leave it to defaults
click-click 17
Patch did not work. could not find bytes in exe, so it looks like medicine is for 64-bit only
Rudy5 195
Retry it, i think it works. The first time it fails to find windowmanager.exe. And make sure you choose the right program to patch from the drop down menu Edited January 26 by Rudy5
click-click 17
Got it working by replacing everything in the Yap Settings directory with data from the installed version (Data Files and settings.reg). I did not have to patch and used the portable version. Even though Windowmanager is a 32-bit app, you might want to mention that the settings directory in the portable only works on 64-bit. click-click 17
Can you tell me why your portable exe is not the same size as the portable launcher from the Yap download site? When the yap.exe is renamed and used with a corresponding .ini, such as yours, the exe file remains the same. I'm just wondering why your launcher is different.
