Popular Post medp7060 281
Directory Opus 12.23.Build.7655-de! *Dec 23* (plus repack & portables) Directory Opus is a simplest file manager, a utility program which presents lists of files and allows the user to perform actions of some kind on those files. File managers are useful for moving files between folders, making backup copies of files, viewing pictures and playing sounds, running other utility programs on lists of files, deleting unwanted files and many other “housekeeping” tasks. Directory Opus goes beyond the simple file manager metaphor, and offers you a complete replacement for Windows Explorer and many other utility programs for handling FTP, ZIP, viewing files and images, running slideshows and more. It provides you with all this within a user-friendly and fully-configurable environment within which you can access and manage your important data with a minimum of effort. Harness the power of your computer like never before! Homepage: https://www.gpsoft.com.au/index.html Get the Dec 23 fix from here: all credits go to de! Mirrors Spoiler TBA General guide for installation: 1) Completely uninstall any previous version using Revo Uninstaller before installing the new version(12.23). 2) After reboot, clean up possible leftovers with ThedeadSoup trial reset (v2.0). 3) (Optional) disconnect (unplug) the internet, but DO NOT block specific sites in the HOSTS or block Directory Opus with a firewall. 4) Install Directory Opus 12.23 (using the Universal Installer from the above post in case it was silently updated), but hold it on at the last step. 5) Use de! Crack: apply all 4 cracked files according to your system type x86 or x64. The default locations for the x64 version are below. Rename (preferred) or delete these files before copying/pasting the cracked x64 files. C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.exe (SHA-1: d549c1082da98491f9110a6361723923abfa910c) C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopuslib.dll (SHA-1: 3b12883527daf15f8c764db684b27b9c0042e2c2) C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\Viewers\docs.dll (SHA-1: 5e4cf214213f38149052398f516f10c3694aee4e) C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\Language\english.dll (SHA-1: 597b27bf975cadee8e4dff3dd12a7f3beffe9671) 6) Go back and continue the last step of installation, then manually insert the new license. 7) (Very important!!!!) Disable automatic updates (Settings - untick "check for news and program updates") Turn back on the internet. It should work. However, if it does not, use de!'s dopuscleaner to clear up any leftovers from previous versions without uninstalling 12.23, and re-apply the new license. dopuscleaner.exe -path "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus" Get the ThedeadSoup trial reset (v2.0) from here: Get the portables by DoomStorm: Thanks to GlacialMan (Note: This portable needs to install the certificate if you use it on a new computer. pooch 1
I have installed the portable version 12.23x64 and the certificate is accepted, but I am asked to install a certificate every time I open it. I have been running Dopus v12.6 without a hitch for quite some time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The portable installer will install the certificate to a portable folder you have specified. After that, please make sure you start it by running the "DirectoryOpusPortable.exe" in the portable folder, not the portable installer. axis918

Thanks anyway. First, please be noted by the portable installer: This portable needs to install the certificate if you use it on a new computer. "It appears that you are running on a new computer, please register again. To register, copy the following and then select Install New Certificate, click on Paste and then Install." Registration info is stored in this folder: <Folder you specified>\Data\DirectoryOpus\CommonAppData It has two files with one in the subfolder: Global Data\globaldata.omd - Stores meta data about your Opus installation, including your registration code dopus.cert - Your installed License Certificate Have you checked if these files are written after the certificated is accepted? If not, you have a written permission issue. Again, you are only asked to register once by running the portable installer. Hereafter, you start it by running "DirectoryOpusPortable.exe" in the portable folder <Folder you specified> Data <folder> App <folder> DirectoryOpusPortable.ini DirectoryOpusPortable.exe Edited 19 hours ago by medp7060 GlacialMan

If this is what you got in the Globaldata.omd, the registration was not successful. The regcode has to be shown in a format as "xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx". The dopus.cert is coded so it shows garbage. I meant regcode format. It is possible that you have leftovers from previous installations (however, which can be removed by the de!'s dopuscleaner). One way to check is to test it in Windows Sandbox. I tested the 12.23 x64 portable on three machines, and all worked. It only asked for a re-registration when a new running environment is detected by DO. Until a real portable is available, an alternative option is to export a portable version onto a USB flash drive from an installed version. The exported portable will be registered with the USB flash drive and can be used on any computer.
