Holmes Posted April 27, 2016 Share Posted April 27, 2016 I highly recommend you dont seed at all I never have unless Im downloading a torrent ill seed when Im downloading the torrent when Im done downloading the torrent I stop seeding (seeding is sharing and sharing is dangerous). Holmes Posted May 5, 2016 Share Posted May 5, 2016 The advantage is if your downloading from the private tracker and law enforcement wants to trace you a guy I worked with told me you can get traced with public trackers not with a private tracker I dont know if thats true or not you may get anonymity this is the true difference between private and public trackers: http://lifehacker.com/5897095/whats-a-private-bittorrent-tracker-and-why-should-i-use-one If you want true anonymity I would recommend using a vpn with you download torrents.
