Batu69
Last week, I reported that Microsoft was planning to launch the Windows 10 “Fall Update” on November 2nd, but Microsoft was unable to sign off on a final build last week meaning they still don’t have anything ready. So November 2nd isn’t happening now, but according to a Microsoft Support Engineer, the 10th it is.The Support Engineer on the Microsoft Answer forums has said the Windows 10 “Fall Update” will launch on November 10th, bringing with it Cortana support in India. That’s one of many things coming in the “Fall Update”, other features include UI improvements, Edge improvements and a new Messaging app.Assuming the Support Engineer knows what he’s talking about, the 10th gives Microsoft one more week to sign off on a final build for the Fall Update, after missing their planned deadline last week, they’ll probably want to sign off on a final build very soon so they can ship to Insiders for final testing, much like how they did with the original Windows 10 RTM.Source

Sir Alex_152
The next major update of Windows 10 , code-named Redstone will be released in the summer of 2016Redstone is now not just a mineral from the universe of the famous open-world designer Minecraft, but , according to the resource WinBeta, the code name for the upcoming major update of Windows 10 , which is scheduled for release next summer .According to the source , Redstone will be the next major upgrade to WIndows 10 after the upcoming release Threshold 2. It will include a number of important new features , however, according to available data , Microsoft has not been fully decided which ones will be included in the final version of the update. And yet, life WinBeta mentions two new features that are now in development . The first is support for extensions to the browser Edge. This feature will allow third party developers to significantly expand the functionality of the software giant's new browser , equating it with competing solutions like Firefox and Chrome. Previously, Microsoft has already announced that this opportunity will be available sometime in the next year .Another important addition , based on the source, the camp function similar Continuity on iOS and OS X ( deeper integration between devices iOS and OS X). Through Continuity it is possible to continue this work on a smartphone with applications on a PC or another paired device from the same place where it was interrupted . According WinBeta, implementation of the concept of "continuous customer" Microsoft's decision will be substantially similar to Apple, although no details about the possibilities of this function yet.It is noted that Microsoft will provide developers with the necessary resources to support the implementation of this feature in their software so that it must be supported by a majority of applications , not just those that are pre-installed in Windows 10 .It's no secret that with the release of Windows 10, Microsoft made an even greater emphasis on the integration of desktop and mobile platforms, so further movement in this direction - the search for new ways to eliminate the inconvenience of frequent changes of devices - is quite natural. Adding features such Continuity from Apple, no doubt, can be seen as a smart move on the part of Microsoft. In addition, it will be a good addition to existing Continuum technology in Windows 10, which provides a more consistent experience when switching between devices of different form factors.
