Clarification - Discussion: Is Adguard another Superfish/Privdog?

One of the comments from a user of Adguard posted about supicious activity of Adguard. It may be another Superfish.

The reply from Adguard Admin seems to be partially satisfactory. So, I request Nsaners and other developers to review the activity of Adguard after testing rigorously and post more information in this thread!

You are right that Adguard's HTTPS filtering is alike.

But we don't have such bug as Komodia has. Adguard validates the server certificates and if server cert is not valid - we stop filtering of that connection, so you can see warning from your browser
