I'm running Eset Smart Security on a Win XP SP3(using posready updates)

I noticed my version number is 7.0.302.26 and when i click to check for new prog. version ,it says it's up to date.

But ESET Smart Security 7.0.317.4 is available here at Nsaneforums.

Why is eset telling me i'm up to date with my program version, when there appears to be a newer version available?

p.s..i also have an old dell d505 laptop running winxp, with version 7.0.317 .4 on ,so that one seems to have the newest version.

That`s a well known ESET`s problem - they give the latest version with a `little` delay (a few weeks) when you check for latest version -> so , if you want the latest version check nsane`s frontpage !

(for ex. -> today I was looking at a PC with a few applications outdated and I decided to update them - when I checked in ESET (vers.6.0) for the latest version it offered to update to 7.0.302.26 , so I used the installer from nsane`s FP...)
