A word of advice to anyone that is trying to recovery data from a drive with weak heads or sectors, is to either image or clone it to a good drive first befor attempting recovery & work from the cloned drive. As should the problem drive fail due to extra load placed on it, recovery options then become very costly.

Use a utility that will skip bad sectors after one try of reading data, similar to HD.CLONE
