steven36 posted a topic in General News
If you were looking for another reason to hate the rich, Red Carpet Home Cinema is here to help out. For $1,500 to $3,000 per film, the company will let you rent first-run films from the comfort of your tricked out mansion. But not just anyone can sign up for this anti-MoviePass service. To qualify, you have to pass through a strict verification process. The New York Times reports applicants have to own a credit card with a limit of at least $50,000 and those approved must then buy and install a $15,000 streaming box that comes with piracy protections. Furthermore, Red -

How does it work? Leonflix is a search tool for movies and TV shows. It scrapes video/file hosting websites and has the ability to stream the videos hosted on those sites. Every time a video changes hands, from the host to the Putlocker-esque site that shows it, more ads are added. By the time it gets to the viewer, the content has been "stepped on" so many times that it is nearly unwatchable. Leonflix's novelty is that it extracts only the desired content that these sites provide, giving it an "acetone wash" that filters out all the adware and pop-ups that have been c

I used to use Movie Explorer: github.com /anlarke/MovieExplorer Which was the best I have come across. Add you directories and that's it. No work involved. But the lastest version crashes and the older ones aren't showing posters for me. Any alternatives. Using Kodi atm with Universal Movie Scraper, which is fine I suppose. Kodi just seems pointless when at the computer when I prefer using MPC-HC with MadVR. Quickly tried Tiny Movie manager but it isn't scraping many posters unless I do it manually. Ember Movie Manager 1.2 stops responding when scraping.
