  3. But according to a recent tweet from leaker Ishan Agarwal (which has since been deleted), the South Korean company wants to go even further with this approach, so the Galaxy S21 would also come without earphones in the box. In other words, only the USB-C cable would be shipped with the device, which is exactly the approac

These latter two devices aren't going to be available for the foreseeable future, but they do show what kind of devices we might have in homes in the future. This is a bit of a departure for

The sharp-eyed folks at 91 Mobiles spotted images of the purported Samsung tracker on Friday posted by the certification authority NCC, where it’s listed as the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag. Similar to Tile’s smart trackers and Apple’s long-rumored AirTags, it reportedly uses Bluetooth to connect to your other devices so you can find them in those frantic moments when you swea

  12. Samsung regains top smartphone vendor spot as Xiaomi overtakes Apple Unsurprisingly, Huawei’s reign didn’t last long Photo by Vjeran Pavic / The Verge Samsung is back on top as the world’s biggest smartphone vendor one quarter after losing its spot to Huawei, according to reports from IDC, Counterpoint, and Canalys. The news comes just as Samsung posted its highest quarterly revenue figures ever, which the company said was helped by a boost in demand for smartphones. Huawei became th
  13. Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live are underrated in terms of design. The Korean company has very quietly changed the earbud landscape by inventing an ergonomic, seemingly tailored, style of earbud that - to date - are the best fitting earbuds I’ve ever used. The bean shape is, frankly, genius. I’m currently reviewing Jabra’s Elite 85T earbuds and whilst my early impressions are very positive, I haven’t missed the precarious nature of earbuds that rely solely on the rubber ear tips to stay in place. Samsung is also facing stiff competition from Motorola's Razr 5G

  18. Shiny technology trumps end-user experience in the latest Samsung flagship. Samsung's flagship Galaxy S smartphone line is back with the Galaxy S10 and S10+. Since the launch of the Galaxy S8 in 2017, Samsung has stuck with the same basic design for two years across four major devices: the S8, Note8, S9, and Note9. The Galaxy S10 firmly fits into the Galaxy S8 family tree, but with new display and fingerprint technology, the S10 represents the biggest design upgrade since that release in 2017. As usual, Samsung is gunning for the title of "spec-sheet champion" with the Galaxy S

And a strange thing happened : - I switched off my computer, put the SSD in its slot, screwed it and rebooted. - The pc booted fine. I entered the bios to verify that my new disk was there and... no, it was not. The M2.1 slot - where i put the SSD - was marked "empty". Argg... Never mind, I launched Windows 10. The OS found a new drive and asked me to initialize it for future use, what I did. I then ran the samsung utility (Samsung Magician). All worked fine. The speed is ok as you can see
