Imaging APIs offer the following:

• Image Super Resolution: This API is responsible for upscaling pictures to a higher resolution, improving the clarity of blurred images and more.
• Image Segmentation: With Image Segmentation API, applications can use AI to separate background and foreground or remove certain picture parts.
• Object Erase: This API can be implemented in image or video processing apps to remove unwanted objects and mix the cleared area with the background of a picture.
• Image description: With this API, developers can use AI to generate picture descriptions.

Some of those features are already available in Windows 11 and its apps, such as Paint. Microsoft recently started rolling out image upscaling, generative fill, and generative erase for testing on compatible devices. With the new API, similar capabilities will be available in many third-party applications.

Microsoft says a lot of developers already utilize Windows Copilot Runtime to deliver new experiences and improve what their projects can do. Those apps include Adobe Premiere Pro, Affinity Photo, LiquidText, Dot Vista, Promeo by Cyberlink, Capture One, and more.

Imaging APIs will be available in Windows App SDK 1.7 Experimental 2 release in January 2025.

At Ignite 2024, Microsoft introduced several new capabilities for Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve user productivity.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Actions:

Users often use Microsoft 365 Copilot for repetitive tasks like asking for status updates and summarizing meeting recaps. With the new Microsoft 365 Copilot Actions, users can create customizable prompt templates that can be automated. Users can customize the prompt to be triggered by specific events. Microsoft 365 Copilot Actions are now in private preview.

Copilot in Teams:

Microsoft 365 Copilot in Teams can now analyze the content presented during meetings. Copilot already has access to chat messages and meeting transcriptions. With onscreen content access, users can ask Copilot to summarize screen-shared content and more. This new Copilot in Teams feature will be in preview in early 2025.

Teams users often share files during their conversations. With the new file summaries support in 1:1 and group chats in Teams, Copilot can summarize file content, allowing users to learn about the file without opening it. Microsoft 365 Copilot file summaries will be available in preview in early 2025 in both desktop and mobile apps.

Copilot in PowerPoint:

Copilot in PowerPoint will be getting the following three new capabilities:

• Narrative Builder based on a file: To create a high-quality first draft of slides, Copilot's Narrative Builder can now refer to a particular file to create a compelling narrative. This feature will be generally available with Copilot in PowerPoint beginning in January.
• Presentation translation: Microsoft 365 Copilot can now translate an entire PowerPoint presentation into one of 40 languages without affecting the slide design. This translation feature will be generally available with Copilot in PowerPoint on the web from December and for desktop and Mac in January 2025.
• Organization image support: Microsoft 365 Copilot can now create presentations using the organization's images to ensure that the created slides are on brand. This feature will be generally available in Q1 2025.

Copilot in Excel:

Microsoft 365 Copilot is coming to Excel's new start experience to help users create a spreadsheet from scratch. With this new capability, users can now ask Copilot what they want to create, get suggestions, and refine them further. This feature will be generally available by the end of the year.

Copilot in Outlook:

Microsoft 365 Copilot in Outlook will allow users to ask Copilot to schedule focus time or 1:1s. Instead of just scheduling the meeting at a specified time, Copilot can now find the best available time for both people. Copilot can even create an agenda for the meeting. This capability will be available by the end of November.

Copilot in OneNote:

Copilot in OneNote can now organize the contents available in a whole section. The section can include typed, handwritten, and voice notes. Copilot will first provide a preview of the organization; users can further chat with Copilot to refine the structure and click apply to update their section with organized content. This update is in preview.

Copilot Pages:

The recently introduced Copilot Pages is a dynamic, persistent canvas to enhance collaboration in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Copilot when signed in with a Microsoft Entra account. Copilot Pages is getting the following new features in early 2025 during general availability:

• Rich artifacts: In addition to text, Pages will support more content types, including code, interactive charts, tables, diagrams, and math from enterprise or web data. By adding this rich content to Pages, users will be able to further edit and refine it with Copilot, as well as share it for collaborative work.
• Multi-Page support: Users will have the flexibility to add content to Copilot Pages in a variety of ways. They will be able to create multiple new Pages in a single chat session or add content from multiple chat sessions to a single Page. To continue building on a topic, users can add to Pages created in previous Copilot conversations.
• Ground on Page content: Copilot chat prompts will be grounded on the Page content as the page is updated, making subsequent Copilot responses more relevant.
• Pages available on mobile: Users will be able to continue working with Copilot and colleagues while on the go, with the ability to view, edit, and share Pages on mobile.

With these updates, Microsoft 365 Copilot continues to evolve as a powerful AI assistant, streamlining workflows and making complex tasks more manageable for enterprise customers.

Microsoft says that the bug affects non-administrator accounts, primarily the modern Settings app (everything works for administrator profiles):

After installation of Windows 11, version 24H2, users without administrative privileges might not be able to change the time zone in the Date & Time view of Windows Settings. The expected time zone option is not visible to non-administrator users.

 

Please note, this issue is limited to the Date & Time view in the Windows Settings app only, and is not a result of changes to permissions, user policies, or any settings of the operating system. Users with administrator privileges will not experience this issue.

Luckily, Windows 11 has a massive chunk of legacy parts, which means you can mitigate the problem by adjusting the time zone using the good old Control Panel. Here are two workarounds that Microsoft suggests resorting to while it investigates the bug:

The time zone can be changed as normal via the Date and Time section of the Windows Control Panel.

 

• This can be accomplished by opening the start menu and typing "control panel", then selecting the top result. Once the Control Panel appears, you can use the search bar in the upper right of the window to enter "change the time zone". Select the top result.

 

Or:

 

• The corresponding window can also be opened directly from the Run dialog (press the Windows key and 'R' on your keyboard) using the command "timedate.cpl"
• Once there, select the ‘Date and Time’ tab and click the 'Change time zone...' button where you can make the change.

You can find more information about the problem here. In more positive news, Microsoft recently fixed a Task Manager bug in Windows 11 24H2. It also lifted one of the blocks preventing certain users from updating to Windows 11 version 24H2, which means more people can upgrade to the latest release. You can do that even if your system is not officially supported.

The Redmond giant said that PowerShell 7.5 is built on top of .NET 9 and will be supported for 18 months as a standard support release. Microsoft put out a reminder that PowerShell 7.2 support ended on November 8, 2024, and that 7.4 is the current LTS release and is supported until November 2026.

Here is an overview of what's new in this release:

• PSResourceGet now supports ACR as a container gallery, for more information check out the documentation
• PSReadLine has been updated to version 2.3.6
• New cmdlets ConvertTo-CliXml and ConvertFrom-CliXml(Thanks @ArmaanMcleod!)
• Web cmdlet improvements as well as improvements to other cmdlets
• Tab completion improvements
• This release also contained a number of bug fixes — for the full list of changes please refer to the changelog

In addition to the above changes, this release moves the following experimental features to the mainstream feature set:

• PSCommandNotFoundSuggestion
• PSCommandWithArgs
• PSModuleAutoLoadSkipOfflineFiles

This general availability of PowerShell will be in January 2025. If you cannot wait until then and want the release candidate, check out the installation instructions for your operating system here. On Windows, if you installed the previous PowerShell 7.5 preview and opted into Microsoft Update, you will be automatically updated to 7.5.0-rc.1.

What you need to know

• Bluesky has gained millions of new users over the last week as more people are fleeing X (aka Twitter).
• While not quite Twitter 2.0, Bluesky offers some ingenious advantages, such as default chronological ordering, custom feeds, and Starter Packs.
• Beeskie is a new (and free) native Windows 11 client for Bluesky, currently in beta.
• The app is made by a Microsoft software engineer who selfpublishes various Windows apps on the Microsoft Store.

If there’s a social network, there will be drama, and that is the case with Bluesky, the Twitter offshoot started originally by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey. Starting last week, Bluesky has seen a big wave of new users, going from around 7 million two months ago to 19 million as of Sunday, November 18, as people begin to flee the trash fire that is now Twitter. While still hundreds of millions of users behind Twitter (X), the Bluesky official app is currently the #1 free download on both iOS and Android, and the Bluesky team reports that they’re averaging about one million sign-ups per day.

Whether that pace continues remains to be seen.

Interestingly, there is now a free native Windows 11 app available on the Microsoft Store dubbed Beeskie. It was developed by Daniel Paulino, a Microsoft software engineer who self-publishes under Jenius Apps (we’ve covered his previous apps like Ambie White Noise and Pillbox Pro).

There is now a remedy to that.

NTDEV, the maker of the famous tiny11 project, a tool that shrinks the kids Windows 10 and 11, released an updated version of the tiny11 core builder. What is tiny11 core builder? It is a script that lets you shave a lot of parts off the standard Windows 11 image for a very small system installation. The maker of the project positions tiny11 core as a "quick and dirty development testbed" for all sorts of whacky stuff, like running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro.

Note that tiny11 core is not for you if you want a slimmed-down Windows 11 installation for daily use, say, on unsupported hardware or a PC with a tiny SSD. tiny11 core is not serviceable, which means you cannot update it, install additional components, etc. You have to pick what you need during the creation process and call it a day. In return, you get the ability to run a bare-bones Windows 11 that only takes 3GB of disk space.

For more user-friendly and daily driving-suitable purposes, use the regular tiny11 builder, which works fine with Microsoft's latest Windows 11 version 24H2 release.

You can download the latest tiny11 scripts from the project's GitHub. It is open-source, but a fair share of caution is still recommended when dealing with modified OS images.

However, one of the Recovery updates, KB5048239, is also leading to installation failures with the "0x80070643" error.

For example, Sebastian94 on the Windows 10 Forums writes, "KB5048239: Another poor update of WinRE?"

Another user, dritzTX, on the Microsoft forum, has published the same query headlined "Security Update for Windows 10, 2024-11, KB5048239 getting error 0x80070643 when installing". The user goes on to write:

I have exactly the same problem as this (reported earlier this year), but with the new KB5048239 update. I get the 0x80070643 error when it tries to install. Retried several times, but same issue. I'm pretty sure this is the same problem that I had back in January, too. All security updates have worked fine since then, till now.

 

At that time I was told that this was a general problem with the update and a fix was being made by Microsoft. I did wait and eventually that previous update went away. Now here we are again...

The user has stated correctly that a similar issue popped up earlier wherein a Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) updates KB5034440 / KB5034441led to the "0x80070643 - ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE" error message, and Microsoft had to eventually pull them and replace them with KB5042321 / KB5042320.

The failures are a result of insufficient Windows Recovery partition space, as it requires a minimum of 250 MB, and Microsoft is well aware of this. It writes:

NOTE This update requires 250 MB of free space in the recovery partition to install successfully.

 

If you would like to make sure your device is offered this update, please follow the  Instructions to manually resize your partition or use a sample script to increase the size of the WinRE recovery partition.

 

Once your partition has sufficient disk space, click Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates to have the update offered to you and then install it.

As often, aside from Patch Tuesday, Microsoft has also released new dynamic updates for WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment), also called Safe OS updates, and Setup updates. We covered the Windows 11 updates earlier today, which you can find in this article here.

Interestingly, Microsoft also released Windows 10 Dynamic updates this week, which is very rare as the OS is reaching its end of support (EOS) next year. Speaking of which, these Windows 10 update pages have now been marked with an EOS caution banner.

To bring the same experience to Google Chrome users, Microsoft released its Autofill extension in the Chrome Web Store. Similar to the Autofill experience on the Edge browser, the Microsoft Autofill extension allowed Chrome users to save their passwords, addresses, and payment information and automatically fill them on sites they visit. Since Microsoft Autofill uses a Microsoft Account, the saved details can be used on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.

Recently, Microsoft announced that it will be retiring the Microsoft Autofill extension for Chrome on December 14th. Also, Microsoft has disabled saving new information or editing existing information as of November 14, 2024.

Since the data is stored in a Microsoft Account, after this date, affected users can use the same Microsoft Account in the Edge browser and start using their data for autofill. They can also export their data from Microsoft Edge and import it into another browser if required.

To continue using the Chrome web browser with this data, users can export their data using Microsoft Edge and import the exported CSV file into Google Password Manager in Chrome. Microsoft noted that payment information saved on the Autofill Chrome Extension will not be available in the Microsoft Account as it is stored locally on the extension.

Here's the reason Microsoft mentioned for retiring the Autofill Chrome Extension:

"We regularly review our offerings to ensure we're delivering the highest value experiences for our users. As part of this review process, we are retiring this extension to better simplify our offerings."

This change will affect over 100,000 users. Microsoft should have provided a more relaxed timeline for users to migrate to alternative solutions. Instead of crippling the extension's functionality with just 30 days' notice, a more gradual retirement plan would have been preferable.

The Windows 11 update resolves an annoying Task Manager bug that would incorrectly show the number of background processes and Windows processes count as zero. Meanwhile, the Windows 10 update fixes a bug wherein non-admin users couldn't launch certain apps like Teams, Quick Assist, and more.

Please note that scan mode is ‘ON’ by default on most web pages (like news articles, wiki page, etc.).

• We have improved our speech-to-text and text-to-speech experience on Windows. Users of Narrator, voice access, live captions, live translations, and voice typing might see a message asking them to update their language files manually. Cancel dialog for beforeunload event. Microsoft Edge changed the behavior of the cancel dialog for the beforeunload event. Calling event.preventDefault in a beforeunload event handler won't prevent the dialog from being shown. Instead, event.returnValue = '' needs to be called in the beforeunload event handler to prevent the cancel dialog. The BeforeunloadEventCancelByPreventDefaultEnabled policy is obsolete and no longer works after Microsoft Edge version 130.

 

Changes to Kyber. The Kyber algorithm was standardized with minor technical changes and renamed to the Module Lattice Key Encapsulation Mechanism (ML-KEM). ML-KEM is implemented in the BoringSSL cryptography library, which allows for it to be deployed and utilized by services that depend on this library.

 

The changes to the final version of ML-KEM make it incompatible with the previously deployed version of Kyber. Due to this incompatibility the following changes in Microsoft Edge will be made:

 

• Edge switches from supporting Kyber to ML-KEM.
• Edge offers a key share prediction for hybrid ML-KEM (codepoint 0x11EC).
• The PostQuantumKeyAgreementEnabled flag and the PostQuantumKeyAgreementEnabled policy applies to Kyber and ML-KEM. Note: The PostQuantumKeyAgreementEnabled policy is scheduled for removal in Edge version 141.
• Edge will no longer support hybrid Kyber (codepoint 0x6399).

 

New sidebar policy. The EdgeSidebarAppUrlHostAllowList policy allows admins to define a list of sites, based on URL patterns, that are not subject to the EdgeSidebarAppUrlHostBlockList. When the policy is configured, the apps listed in the allow list can be opened in sidebar even if they are listed in the block list. For more information, see Manage the sidebar in Microsoft Edge.

Microsoft Edge 131 also includes all the fixes and small improvements from the previous four Edge 131 Dev updates. You can check those release notes in detail here:

The below Paint and Notepad updates are beginning to rollout to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels. Please note that generative fill in Paint is ONLY available on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs on Windows 11, version 24H2 and higher so this feature will not be available in this Paint update in the Beta Channel.

New AI features for Paint include the following (there are also some not-so-exciting changes) :

• Generative Fill: You can select an area and tell Paint what to add to it. The app will then offer you several variants of your prompt matching the drawing style and the ability to regenerate the result.
• Generative Erase: This feature lets you remove an object from the canvas. Select the area you want to clear, and Paint will make the drawing look like the object was never there.
• Cocreator Update: The underlying model for this feature received updates to deliver faster results. Cocreator lets you generate images based on your description and drawing.
• Image Creator: Image Creator lets you generate pictures with natural language. This feature is now available in more countries.

As for Notepad, the app now lets you quickly rewrite content with the help of AI. Also, Microsoft improved the launch time by up to 55%, making Notepad faster.

Generative Fill and Cocreator are only available on Copilot+ PCs, while Image Creator, Generative Erase, and Rewrite in Notepad work on all supported Windows 11 PCs. • Adding a new markdown file just got easier with the new template available in the Add New Item dialog.

• Now, Azure Functions can use .NET Aspire to integrate serverless technology into .NET Aspire.

• You can now extract HTML to a Razor component in Visual Studio via code action.

• [Narrator] New! We have added new functionalities to Narrator scan mode. Skip past links (N’) allows you to navigate to the text after a link. This is most helpful when navigating through long emails, news articles, and wiki pages. Jump to lists (L’) allows you to quickly access a list on a web page or a document. To try these new features, you need to turn on Narrator first (Win key + Ctrl + Enter), then turn scan mode ON by pressing Caps Lock + Spacebar and finally use the new shortcuts – ‘N’ and ‘L’. • [Speech in Windows] New! We have improved our speech-to-text and text-to-speech experience on Windows. In the changelog for the just-released Windows 10 build 19045.5194, Microsoft announced the end of the road for the Beta Channel. 19045.5194 (KB5046714) is the last Beta build for Windows 10.

The Beta Channel and Release Preview Channel will receive the same Windows 10 build today just like we’ve been doing since June. However, this will be the last time we release a Windows 10 build to the Beta Channel as we will be shutting down the Beta Channel for Windows 10.

What does that mean for Windows 10 insiders in the Beta Channel? Microsoft will automatically migrate you to the Release Preview Channel. However, you can also manually move your system from Beta to Release Preview. Microsoft says the Release Preview Channel will continue receiving new updates, and there is yet no information on when the company plans to end the Insider program for Windows 10 altogether.

Windows 10 is now in its final year of mainstream support. With the end of life scheduled for October 2025, Microsoft is getting ready for hundreds of millions of PCs to run out of updates. If updating your system to Windows 11 is not an option (you can do that manually if your hardware is not officially supported), you can opt for the Extended Security Update program. For the first time in its existence, ESU will let regular consumers pay Microsoft for 12 extra months of security updates (enterprises get up to three years). That will set you back $30.

Like x64 Windows 11 ISO files, users can now use the new Windows 11 Arm64 ISO files to create virtual machines, perform upgrades within a running copy of Windows, or create bootable media for installing Windows on Arm on other PCs. Microsoft is only offering a multi-edition ISO for download. Users need to use their product key to unlock the correct edition for their PCs.

Microsoft also noted on the download page that it may be necessary to include drivers from the hardware OEM for the installation media to be successfully bootable.

For the latest Windows on Arm devices with a Snapdragon X Series processor, users will be able to use the new ISO to install Windows without additional drivers from OEMs. Even though Windows will install successfully on the devices, they will lack full features until the remaining drivers are installed. Users can use ethernet via a dongle or dock to connect to Windows Update to download the drivers.

Devices with previous generations of Snapdragon processors (Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3, Gen 2, etc) must have drivers from the OEM injected into the image. Without the drivers, the device may fail to boot or boot to an unusable state.

This release provides greater flexibility for users working with Windows on Arm. The availability of ISO images simplifies installation and management, making Windows on Arm more accessible. Users can download the latest Windows 11 Arm64 ISO here from Microsoft.

The Windows 11 update resolves an annoying Task Manager bug that would incorrectly show the number of background processes and Windows processes count as zero. Meanwhile, the Windows 10 update fixes a bug wherein non-admin users couldn't launch certain apps like Teams, Quick Assist, and more.

However, the new update on Windows 11 23H2 and 22H2 also introduces a potential undocumented bug that displays the message "Get the newer version of Windows to stay up to date. Your version of Windows has reached the end of service" on the Windows Update page.

As you can see in the image above, there is a "Learn more" link there, which directs to a Windows 10 support article on Microsoft's site. It says:

Why am I seeing this notification?

 

You’re seeing this notification because your version of Windows 10 is out of service. Windows attempted to update this device several times, but it hasn’t received an update in a significant amount of time. This might be because your device doesn’t meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10.

 

Regular updates help keep your device and data secure and help protect your PC from viruses, spyware, and other malware. Your security is important to us, so we want to let you know what to do in these instances.

Hence, Windows, for some reason, thinks it is not an updated system even though KB5046633 is the latest available C.U. (cumulative update) on version 23H2.

Interestingly, Microsoft recently quietly pushed out its KB5001716 update to several Windows 10 and 11 versions, and the update is meant to notify and nag users about the upcoming end of support of their OS version. Hence, we wonder if this may have anything to do with it.

The tech giant also seems to discourage users now from wanting to download Windows 10 even if they are using an official source like the MCT citing the version's impending end of support.

Meanwhile, the Windows 10 update finally closes a bug wherein users without elevated rights (non-admins) could not launch certain apps like Teams, Quick Assist, and more. The issue was introduced back in September with the KB5043131 update, and it had to do with the uiAccess=true attribute that is part of an app's manifest file used to manage privileges.

Microsoft had already issued a KIR (known issue rollback) to mitigate the issue in enterprise-managed PCs. The company explains what to do next:

This issue was resolved by Windows updates released November 12, 2024 (KB5046613), and later. We recommend you install the latest security update for your device as it contains important improvements and issue resolutions, including this one.

 

If you have an enterprise-managed device and have installed the update released November 12, 2024 (KB5046613), and later, you do not need to use a Known Issue Rollback (KIR) or a special Group Policy to resolve this issue. If you are using an update released before November 12, 2024, and have this issue, your IT administrator can resolve it by installing and configuring the special Group Policy listed below. The special Group Policy can be found in Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Group Policy name listed below>.

You can use these shortcuts to review and copy what Narrator spoke, useful in cases you want to quickly copy some content or descriptions or codes/numbers for use.
• Narrator will now auto-read contents of a mail in the new Outlookapp similar to behavior in Outlook classic.

[File Explorer]

 

• Fixed an issue which was causing the items in the navigation pane to become very spread out (with unexpected padding between each item) for some people.
• Fixed an underlying issue which was causing RAW images taken in portrait mode to unexpectedly display in landscape mode thumbnails.

 

[Taskbar & System Tray]

 

• Made a change so you will now see a search box if the taskbar auto-hides when the setting for search on the taskbar is set to “Search box” (rather than an icon).

 

[Input]

 

• Updated the mouse option “Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key”, so that the circles displayed are now DPI-aware, and aren’t really small on high DPI monitors.

 

[Narrator]

 

• We have addressed a performance issue where Narrator would slow down after 15 minutes of continuous use with a single application. If you continue to experience any performance delays, do report using Feedback Hub.
• Fixed an issue where Narrator would add an additional announcement “contains style” whenever its focus is on text that has styling attributes such as bullets, numbers across applications such as Microsoft Edge, Teams, Outlook, etc.
• Fixed an issue where few dialogs in Narrator were not adopting the 200% text scaling setting in Windows.

 

[Task Manager]

 

• Fixed an issue causing Task Manager to show a 0 count for apps and processes.

 

[Audio]

 

• Fixed an underlying issue that could lead to the audio on certain audio devices unexpectedly going to 100% on boot or after sleep.
• Fixed a blank entry in Settings > Privacy, which was crashing Settings if you clicked it.

 

[Other]

 

• Mitigated an issue resulting in Git not working for Insiders with Arm PCs in the previous flight.
• Fixed an issue causing some insiders to see a bugcheck with KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION in the previous flight.
• Fixed an underlying issue which could potentially lead to not being able to join a domain.
• Fixed an issue where DirectAccess wasn’t working and might stay stuck in a connecting state.

Here is the list of known bugs to be aware of:

[General]

 

• [IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COPILOT+ PCs] If you are joining the Canary Channel on a new Copilot+ PC from the Dev Channel, Release Preview Channel or retail, you will lose Windows Hello pin and biometrics to sign into your PC with error 0xd0000225 and error message “Something went wrong, and your PIN isn’t available”. You should be able to re-create your PIN by clicking “Set up my PIN”.
• We’re investigating reports that some Insiders are still experiencing rollbacks (with error code 0xc190010) when attempting to install the latest Canary builds.
• [NEW] We’re working on the fix for an underlying issue causing some apps used for remoting into other PCs to crash in the latest Canary builds.
• [NEW] This build has an issue with applying policy for the Digital Markets Act in EEA regions.

 

[Desktop]

 

• We’re working on the fix for an issue where your desktop background may not show correctly sometimes with multiple monitors (showing big black areas).

Intel Game On Driver support on Intel Arc A-series Graphics GPUs and Intel Core Ultra with built-in Intel Arc GPUs for:

Besides game optimizations, the driver does not bring anything new. However, it still has quite a lot of known bugs:

Intel Arc A-Series Graphics Products:

 

• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (DX12) may exhibit darker than expected shadows in certain campaign scenarios.
• Doom Eternal (VK) may exhibit intermittent flickering corruption in the game menu and during gameplay.
• Topaz Video AI may experience errors when exporting videos after using some models for video enhancements.
• Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio may experience lower than expected performance.
• Topaz Gigapixel AI may experience intermittent crash while exporting images.

 

Intel Core Ultra Series 1 with built-in Intel Arc GPUs:

 

• SPECworkstation3.1 may exhibit system instability while running certain workloads.
• PugetBench for Davinci Resolve Studio V19 may experience errors intermittently with benchmark preset set to Extended.
• Davinci Resolve Studio v19.0 may experience errors while rendering OpenVino test scenarios.

 

Intel Core Ultra Series 2 with built-in Intel Arc GPUs:

 

• Adobe Premiere Pro may exhibit corruption in the output video after performing 8K AV1 Encode.
• DirectML-based AI applications may experience slow first token latency.
• Star Wars Outlaws (DX12) may experience sporadic crash during gameplay.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (DX12) may exhibit texture corruption on water surfaces.
