According to a developer blog post by Senior Program Manager Lead at Microsoft, Cassie Hoef, Microsoft is working with hardware partners like AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm, as well as game developers, to showcase the latest DXR implementation.

The new technologies that will enable the massive performance boosts in ray tracing are described like this:

• Opacity micromaps significantly optimize alpha-tested geometry, delivering up to 2.3x performance improvement in path-traced games. By efficiently managing opacity data, OMM reduces shader invocations and greatly enhances rendering efficiency without compromising visual quality.
• Shader execution reordering offers a major leap forward in rendering performance — up to 2x faster in some scenarios — by intelligently grouping shader execution to enhance GPU efficiency, reduce divergence, and boost frame rates, making raytraced titles smoother and more immersive than ever. This feature paves the way for more path-traced games in the future.

"We’re thrilled that our hardware partners are fully embracing these cutting-edge features," added Microsoft. "NVIDIA has committed driver support across GeForce RTX GPUs, and we’re actively working with other hardware vendors, including AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm, to ensure widespread adoption."

The company had also unveiled other upcoming technologies at the GDC presentation, including memory usage reduction with the use of "Neural Block Texture Compression," as well as neural supersampling and denoising for accurate real-time path tracing visuals without hurting performance.

Expect more information about DirectX Raytracing 1.2, with demos showcasing the improvements from developers, to arrive soon.

Using it, you may give Microsoft's AI instructions to create a document draft. This is not the only AI-feature that Microsoft baked into Word.

A click on the Copilot button in the toolbar shows additional options. You may ask Copilot to summarize a document, create an image based on your descriptions, or ask the AI something.

The latter can be anything. You could ask any questions about the open document, get advise on grammar or style, or ask if something sounds unclear. Copilot may also give spelling suggestions.

While that may sound useful to some Word users, others may have no desire to use the artificial intelligence in Word.

If you belong to the latter group, you may be delighted that Copilot can be turned off in Microsoft Word.

Remove Copilot from Microsoft Word

It takes just a few steps to disable Copilot in Microsoft Word. This removes the "draft" action when creating new documents. The Copilot-button in the Word interface is not removed, but it is inactive and grayed out.

Here is how that is done.

1. Open Microsoft Word on your computer.
2. Select Options on the startpage.
   1. You can also get there by opening a document. Just select File > Options then.
3. Switch to Copilot.
4. Uncheck the option "Enable Copilot".
5. Click the OK button to make the change.

The change takes effect immediately. There is no need to restart Word.

You may revert the change at any time by checking the "Enable Copilot" box again in the options in Microsoft Word.

Note: unlike many other settings, disabling Copilot has no effect on other Office applications. You will notice that Copilot remains enabled in Excel, for instance.

This means, that you need to disable Copilot in all apps of the Office suite that you use to remove it from all of them.

The process is identical, you only need to launch the desired app instead of Microsoft Word to follow the instructions.

Paint version 11.2502.121.0 contains an improved Cocreator side panel. It now features a more intuitive and simplified layout. If you have a compatible device, you can open Cocreator and describe what is on your mind, then start doodling alongside Copilot. The side panel will let you adjust AI's creativity with a slider and regenerate the result with a "Try again" button.

Here is what the updated side panel looks like:

Next, we have Snipping Tool. Windows 11's stock screenshot-taking app now lets you create perfect shapes with the Draw and Hold feature. You can hold your drawing, and the app will straighten its shape (circle, square, line, etc). The update also contains a new and improved protocol launch experience. This change is aimed at developers, and they can learn more about it here.

Finally, with version 11.25.01.30.0, Notepad received document summarization. Select a portion of text and press Ctrl + M. The app will then generate a brief summary of the selected portion with the option to adjust the length if necessary. Note that this feature requires a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription. Document summarization in Notepad requires AI credits, but Copilot Pro subscribers can use the feature without any limits.

Another useful change in the latest Notepad update is a list of recent files. Click File > Recent to browse the list of recently opened text documents.

According to Google, this new Gmail search update, powered by AI, works by factoring in elements like recency, most-clicked emails, and frequent contacts instead of just showing emails in chronological order based on keywords.

With this update, the emails you’re looking for are far more likely to be at the top of your search results — saving you valuable time and helping you find important information more easily.

Google says this new feature will roll out globally for personal Google accounts on the web, Android, and iOS, with plans to expand to business users later, though the company has not provided a timeline.

"Most relevant" search results are one of many AI-powered features Google added to Gmail this year. Less than two weeks ago, the company further deepened its integration of Gemini into Gmail with a new feature that detects calendar-related content in your email and adds an event to your calendar when you hit the "Add to Calendar" button.

Speaking of Windows 11 24H2, the company today also shared a new TPM verification tool called the "attestation readiness verifier tool" which will help to check for and identify various compatibility, security, and reliability issues at the hardware and firmware level.

Neowin has covered attestation-related bugs in the past and Microsoft has also previously worked on a "TPM troubleshooter" option inside the Security app.

With this new tool, Microsoft says that users will be able to better understand the level of TPM attestation readiness using newly presented information in the Event Viewer.

If you are not familiar, the (Windows) Event Viewer helps Windows keep logs of the various "events" carried out by the apps and drivers. Microsoft recommends it as a useful utility to help troubleshoot issues.

Microsoft explains:

Attestation readiness verifier indicates three possible health states. You'll find them in the Event Viewer Log at every boot and hibernate–resume, as follows:

 

• Attestable: All checks passed. Attestation is expected to report an accurate state.
• Possibly attestable: A platform configuration register (PCR) issue was detected during boot. PCRs are updated by components like UEFI firmware and securely stored in the TPM. Correctness of PCRs affects the health of security features like BitLocker and attestation. Note: Try restarting your machine first. If it doesn't help, you might need to work with your device or UEFI vendor.
• Not attestable: A critical check has failed. The device booted in an unhealthy state.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Microsoft adding "enhanced" hardware-backed attestation for Windows 11 on Intune. The Microsoft 365 roadmap entry under ID 387499 describes the new feature:

This will enhance the Windows compliance policy - device health by adding five additional hardware attestation settings specific to Windows 11 using advanced platform security features like Memory Integrity and Access Protection, firmware protection, virtualization-based security, and Early Launch Antimalware protection.

For those wondering, TPM attestation is sort of similar to how UEFI Secure Boot works. The difference is that Secure Boot's function is to check for secure bootloaders while TPM attestation ensures TPM authenticity by attesting that the corresponding RSA (Rivest, Shamir, Adleman) keys are trusted by the CA (certificate authority).

This issue happens across different generations of GPUs, but AMD says that the bug has been resolved for its latest RX 9000 series cards. So that is some progress, and hopefully, the Radeon team will be able to fix this issue for all generations of its GPUs.

Microsoft has explained what the problem was and has also added the safeguard hold ID for IT admins and sysadmins:

After installing Windows 11, version 24H2, you might face issues with Asphalt 8 (Airborne). The game might stop responding with an exception while you are using or exiting it, and you will have to restart the game to recover from the exception.

 

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on devices using Asphalt 8. These devices will not be offered to install Windows 11, version 24H2 via the Windows Update release channel. IT administrators using Windows Update for Business reports can check this issue using its safeguard ID: 52796746.

 

Resolution: This issue has been resolved. The safeguard hold (ID 52796746) that was previously in place for this issue has been lifted.

 

It may take up to 48 hours for the Windows 11, version 24H2 update to be offered in the Windows Update in Settings. Restarting your device might expedite the process.

Thus the company says that users who were affected by this will be able to download Windows 11 version 24H2 very soon as it typically takes up to 48 hours or two days for the feature update to be offered. You can find the issue here on Microsoft's Windows health dashboard site.

In the rare case that you have still not been offered Windows 11 24H2 without any compatibility block, you can try this Registry/Group Policy hack to update immediately.

Kali Linux is a distribution created for cybersecurity professionals and ethical hackers to red team exercises, penetration testing, security audits, and research against networks.

As is typical for the year's first version, the Kali Team has released new visual elements, including wallpapers and desktop environments.

Note that the strange version number is because the developers stated they found a last-minute bug in 2025.1, which required a fix and rebuild. This led to the release of 2025.1a as the first release of 2025.

New tool added to Kali Linux 2025.1

As with every release, Kali Linux comes with a new tool toy to play with.

Unfortunately, the team said this release is mostly focused on updates, so only one tool was included this time:

• hoaxshell - Windows reverse shell payload generator and handler that abuses the http(s) protocol to establish a beacon-like reverse shell

In addition to Hoaxshell, Kali says they upgraded the Kernel version to 6.12.

Annual theme refresh

With the year's first version, the Kali Team introduces a theme update consisting of new wallpapers and changes to the boot and login experience.

"Just like our previous releases, the first one of the year, 20XX.1, has our annual theme refresh, a tradition that keeps our interface as modern as our tools," reads the Kali 2025.1a announcement.

"This year, we are excited to unveil our latest theme, thoughtfully designed to enhance the user experience from the moment you start up."

"Expect notable updates to the boot menu, login screen, and a stunning selection of desktop wallpapers for both Kali and Kali Purple editions."

This Kali version also comes with five new wallpapers and three additional backgrounds in the Community Wallpapers package.

New desktop changes

This release also comes with desktop changes, including Plasma 6.2 and Xfce 4.20.

"On our end, we have updated all themes to align with the new environment, featuring refreshed window and desktop visuals. And our favorite new addition from KDE? Floating panels!," explains the Kali Team.

The release also includes new keyboard shortcuts to help you navigate the desktop more efficiently.

How to get Kali Linux 2025.1

To start using Kali Linux 2025.1, you can upgrade your existing installation, select a platform, or directly download ISO images for new installs and live distributions.

For those updating from a previous version, you can use the following commands to upgrade to the latest version.

Once done upgrading, you can check if the upgrade was successful by using the following command:

grep VERSION /etc/os-release

Windows 11 will soon have an FAQ page within its Settings app to help you identify any shortcomings in your PC. The feature, which is currently hidden in recent Dev Channel builds of Windows 11, includes questions such as "Am I running the latest version of the Windows OS?"

In addition to identifying if your PC is on the latest version of Windows 11, that page will let you know if your system's GPU is good enough for high-end gaming and video tasks.

The FAQ section includes the question, "how can having a dedicated GPU enhance my experience and productivity?"

The list of questions within the Settings app was spotted and shared by X user phantomofearth, who stays on top of hidden and in-development features for Windows 11.

While Microsoft loves the idea of Copilot as it feels it can help users and organizations alike do a great many things even shoving it inside games, many Windows users including several Neowin readers joked that it was the best Windows update in a long time and they would love keeping it that way for a while.

Sadly, for those people, Microsoft has fixed the issue which Neowin spotted again today while browsing the Windows bugs section, although this also spells good news for folks who regularly rely on Copilot for their daily workflow.

Microsoft writes:

Applies to: All Users.

 

Symptoms

 

We're aware of an issue with the Microsoft Copilot app affecting some devices. The app is unintentionally uninstalled and unpinned from the taskbar.

 

Note: This issue has not been observed with the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.

 

Workaround

 

This issue has been fixed, and the affected devices are being returned to their original state. You can also reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store and pin it to the taskbar.

Thus, Microsoft has not disclosed what caused the issue or how it fixed it. The tech giant simply notes that "the affected devices are being returned to their original state". Regardless, it must be said that the company managed to resolve the bug quite fast.

Regarding new changes to Fedora Workstation, which is GNOME-based, we get the new DNF 5, which can remove expired or obsolete repository keys from the system. This automation means less unnecessary data accumulates on your installation, and it means fewer things will go wrong.

Another change in Fedora Workstation is the SDL 3 transition and Wayland-by-default for SDL apps. Fedora 42 Beta also adds the GNOME Wellbeing feature in Settings, which lets you track screen time, set time limits, and more.

The Fedora project is seeking willing guinea pigs to try out the new beta so that more bugs can be reported and quashed before the stable release in around one month’s time. If you do find any bugs while testing, you can read the Fedora Docs to learn how to file bugs.

If you’re interested in downloading this beta, just head to the Fedora Workstation download page and toggle the Show Beta downloads option to be presented with the beta download options. Uploading its beta v31.0.96.0 driver, Qualcomm is "committed to continuously improving your experience" with a trio of newly supported games, upgrades to existing titles, and a batch of stability fixes for ARM64-native Windows 11 apps like Adobe Photoshop and Blender.

Playing PC games on Windows PCs running Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processors has been a mixed bag since the first batch of laptops, led by the launch of ASUS' Vivobook S 15 Copilot+ PC.

Early performance varied from passable to shockingly impressive in examples like Zac Bowden's review of the Vivobook S15, so it's great to see Qualcomm using these driver updates to improve the experience and support popular PC games like the "perfect sequel" of Kingdom Come Deliverance II.

If your Windows PC has a Snapdragon X Elite chip and not the (an important distinction), you can manually download the driver from Qualcomm's software center here.

Creators will benefit from the update, too, particularly if you use Adobe's suite in your daily workflow with apps like Lightroom on a Snapdragon X Elite PC with 16GB of RAM.

Moving closer to Qualcomm's goals

Here is what is rolling out gradually:

• New! On Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs, we’re bringing the ability to do real-time translation to Chinese (Simplified). Supported languages include Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech Danish, German, Greek English Spanish, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovene, and Swedish.

 

[Settings]

 

• New! With this update, we will gradually make available the Settings homepage for commercial customers on PCs managed by an IT administrator. The feature will show some existing cards relevant to enterprise-managed PCs like “Recommended settings” and “Bluetooth devices” as well as two new enterprise-specific device info and accessibility preferences cards
• New! We are rolling out “top cards” under Settings > System > About. These top cards provide an easy way to view your PC’s key specifications—processor, RAM, storage, and GPU—helping you understand your PC’s capabilities at-a-glance.

[Input]

 

• New! We have enabled the Gamepad keyboard layout for the touch keyboard in Windows 11. This change introduces the ability to use your Xbox controller to navigate and type. • New! A new experience to improve the discoverability of the emoji and more panel in Windows 11 with the introduction of a new system tray icon on the taskbar.
• Fixed: Improved ctfmon.exe reliability, by addressing a system restart which could impact the ability to type.
• Fixed: ctfmon.exe may restart when copying data from certain apps.

 

[Voice access]

 

• New! Natural Language Commanding in voice access provides users with the flexibility to speak commands naturally, using filler words and synonyms, rather than rigid, predefined commands. Available initially on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs.
• New! We are introducing Chinese support for voice access. You can now use Voice access to navigate, dictate, and interact with Windows using voice commands in Simplified Chinese (zh-cn) and Traditional Chinese (zh-tw).
• [Task Manager]New! We are changing the way Task Manager calculates CPU utilization for the Processes, Performance, and Users pages. Task Manager will now use the standard metrics to display CPU workload consistently across all pages and aligning with industry standards and third-party tools. For backward compatibility, a new optional column called CPU Utility is available (hidden by default) on the Details tab showing the previous CPU value used on the Processes page.

 

[Widgets]

 

• New! Introducing the ability for web developers to easily utilize their existing web content to build dynamic and interactive widgets that can be added to the widgets surfaces in Windows 11. For more information, click here.
• New! We’re bringing support for lock screen widgets (previously referred to as “Weather and more”) to devices in the European Economic Area (EEA). You can add, remove, and rearrange lock screen widgets such as Weather, Watchlist, Sports, Traffic, and more. Any widget that supports the small sizing option can be added here. To customize your lock screen widgets, navigate to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.

 

[File Explorer] Fixed: The “see more” (…) menu in the File Explorer command bar opens in the wrong direction in some cases.

 

[Remote Desktop] Fixed: Remote Desktop won’t use UDP, only TCP.

 

[Screen orientation] Fixed: Screen may unexpectedly change orientation coming out of sleep on 2-in-1 devices.

 

[Application Installation] Fixed: The MsiCloseHandle API experiences prolonged execution time when handling MSI files containing a large number of files.

 

[Boot menu] Fixed: If an update fails and rolls back, it may result in an extraneous and non-functional boot menu entry. This fix stops devices from newly encountering this. Extra boot entries can be managed in the Boot section of System Configuration (msconfig), if you have encountered this issue already.

 

[Authentication]

 

• Fixed: Kerberos authentication fails in certain scenarios when RC4 is used for encryption
• Fixed: FIDO Cached Credential Logon may fail in certain cases when device is Hybrid Domain Joined.
• Fixed: Opening certain apps after a password change could unexpectedly lead to lockout, if account lockout policy is enabled.

 

[General Reliability] Fixed: An underlying issue may lead to your PC experiencing a bugcheck (blue screen) with PDC_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT when resuming from sleep.

 

[Network] Fixed: The description of the virtual NIC doesn’t display correctly in Network Connections (ncpa.cpl), showing garbage characters.

 

[Color Profile] Fixed: Under Settings > System > Display > Color Management, it might not display the expected color profile list for the selected monitor.

 

[Color Profile] Fixed: The color profile settings may not be applied after resuming from sleep.

 

[Deprecation]

 

• Suggested actions that appear when you copy a phone number or future date in Windows 11 are now deprecated and being removed.
• We are removing the Location History feature, an API used by Cortana to access 24 hours of device history when location was enabled. With the removal of the Location History feature, location data will no longer be saved locally, and the corresponding settings are also being removed from Settings > Privacy & security > Location page.

In Windows 11 builds 26120.3576 and 22635.5090, Microsoft implemented a new method to move apps around and create new folders. You can right-click a pinned app and select "Move left" or "Move right." Of course, you can always drag an app with your mouse or finger, but this method sometimes behaves a bit unreliable, so a simple move left and right command will help in this regard.

In addition to moving apps around, the updated Start menu makes Start menu folders more apparent. In the Stable build, creating a folder in the Start menu requires dragging one app onto another. With the latest preview update, you can right-click an app and select the option to create a new folder or move the program to an existing one.

Microsoft has not mentioned all those improvements in release notes, but you can force-enable them with the ViVeTool app, assuming you are already on build 26120.3576 or 22625.5090:

1. Download ViveTool from GitHub and unpack the files in a convenient and easy-to-find folder.
2. Launch Command Prompt as administrator.
3. Navigate to the folder containing the ViveTool files with the CD command. For example, if you have placed ViveTool in C:\Vive, type CD C:\Vive.
4. Type vivetool /enable /id:50472543,50472600 and press Enter.
5. Restart your computer.

The new commands join other improvements that Microsoft is currently preparing for the Start menu. They include new layouts for the "All apps" list, the ability to launch Snap groups from the Start menu, and more.

The first traces of the new section were spotted some time ago, but now, we have actual questions and answers available in Settings > About. Microsoft has not announced the new section yet, but you can get it working with some trickery.

Of course, none of what Microsoft says in the new section is new to more or less experienced PC users. However, newcomers to the Windows and PC ecosystems might find the information useful. As of right now, users managed to dig out the following questions:

• Am I running the latest version of the Windows OS? What is the latest Windows version?

• How does having 4-8 GB of RAM impact my PC’s performance? Can I run modern applications smoothly with this RAM capacity?

   

• What is a GPU? I don’t have a dedicated GPU. How does its absence impact gaming and graphics performance?

   

• Is my GPU sufficient for high-end gaming and video experience? How can having a dedicated GPU enhance my experience and productivity?

It is worth noting that the list of available questions depends on your specific hardware. For example, users with integrated graphics will have a question about the lack of a discrete graphics card. The question and the answer about the system memory also depend on how much RAM your PC has. Interestingly, there is even a version for those with less than 4GB of RAM. Even though 4GB is the bare minimum (officially) for Windows 11, Microsoft still included a version for those with seriously low-end computers.

While Microsoft's answers about RAM and GPU are pretty spot-on, the question about the latest Windows version is a bit odd. It only says that Windows 11 is the newest release without mentioning any specific versions like 24H2 or 23H2. Although Windows 11 overall is indeed the newest Windows, its separate releases have separate lifecycles (18 months since the release date for regular customers). It would be nice if Microsoft mentioned that in the new FAQ section.

If you want to try the updated "About" page in the settings app, do the following:

1. Make sure you are on build 26120.3576 or 22635.5090.
2. Download ViveTool from GitHub and unpack the files in a convenient and easy-to-find folder.
3. Run Command Prompt as Administrator.
4. Navigate to the folder containing the ViveTool files with the CD command. For example, if you have placed ViveTool in C:\Vive, type CD C:\Vive.
5. Type vivetool /enable /id:55305888 and press Enter.
6. Restart your computer.

The upcoming The Sims rival inZOI is receiving day-one support with the driver. Interestingly, players will find an experimental 'Nvidia ACE autonomous game characters' setting in-game, letting its NPCs turn "smart" using "higher levels of artificial intelligence."

Meanwhile, Nvidia DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support has been added to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Half-Life 2 RTX Demo, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Moreover, GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti notebooks also have official driver support in this version.

RTX 50 series users facing issues with black screens and resetting overclock issues will also want to try and upgrade to this driver.

• [RTX 50 series] Starfield may disaplay dithering/banding artifacts while in the menu screen [5121715]
• [RTX 50 series] NVIDIA Control Panel setting "Perform scaling on" missing "GPU" option when connected to a monitor in DSC mode [5156168]
• [RTX 50 series] Colors may appear slightly saturated in games when in game-resolution is below native resolution of monitor and display scaling is set to 100% [5158681]

As for version 136.0, it arrived on March 4 with an updated sidebar, vertical tabs, hardware-accelerated HEVC playback on macOS, hardware video decoding on Linux systems with AMD GPUs, and more.

Firefox is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. You can download it from the official website or the Microsoft Store if you use Windows 10 or Windows 11. If, for some reason, you are still on Windows 7, you can still use Firefox 115 ESR, which will remain supported for a few more months.

It's a new week, which means Microsoft is now rolling out a new Windows 11 preview build for testers in the Dev Channel. Interestingly, this build includes an undocumented new menu in the Settings app called "Actions," which appears to let users control which apps can show as suggested actions across the OS.

Right now, the only area where an app appears as a contextual suggestion is in Click To Do, which is exclusive to Copilot+ PCs. The new Actions area in Settings gives an overview of all the apps that are tapping into this experience, and let the user turn them on or off at will.

The new area also gives a handy overview of which apps can do what. Right now, the only apps that appear are Paint and Photos, and it lists what each app is capable of.

• Erase objects in Photos
• Visual Search with Bing

• The About dialog should act less strange when you open it in multiple windows
• Closing the first tab will once again result in its resources being released
• We've fixed some graphical issues with the new icon and color pickers in Appearance settings
• Tearing off a tab will no longer result in its panes disappearing (lol)
• We will now properly save your session when you close the final window
• ... we will also no longer try to save empty windows when you close them
• The Japanese names for Split Tab and Rename Tab have been improved
• Debugging Terminal (and conhost) will now produce a lot fewer spurious errors

 

ConPTY

 

• ConPTY will now tear down properly if you close its pipes while it is starting up
• ConPTY will no longer hang on startup if you do not provide a well-formed response to DA1

Vivaldi 7.2 is here, delivering a faster, smarter, and more independent browsing experience. HOWEVER, This update isn’t just about better browsing, it’s about fighting for a web that works for people, not corporations. At a time when digital power is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few tech giants, Vivaldi stands firm as a European alternative, championing choice, privacy, and customization.

Vivaldi 7.2 delivers several performance updates that make browsing the internet faster. For starters, there is now a faster and smarter address bar. Vivaldi says the new version is "fine-tuned for speed and precision," resulting in the browser showing you search results, bookmarks, browsing history, and other data much faster than before while still allowing you to customize the bar.

Next, we have faster page loading thanks to improved and optimized connection handling. Vivaldi promises that after this update, some users will have their pages loading twice as fast.

Vivaldi 7.2 also has some improvements for keyboard shortcuts. Now, users can make a list of priority shortcuts to override any website-specific controls. The browser's integrated Mail and Calendar now lets you create calendar events from emails and web pages. Just right-click anything and select Add to Calendar > Event.

Other changes in Vivaldi 7.2 include a new currency widget on the Dashboard, workspace support for Quick Commands, and the ability to reorder mail accounts for extra customization.

Besides listing all the changes and improvements in Vivaldi 7.2, developers reminded users that in the world of tech monopoly with its dangers of over-reliance on dominant players, Vivaldi offers a privacy-focused, personalized browser. This comes right after Mozilla, another privacy-focused company, changed its privacy policy regarding user data.
