How to bypass the Windows 11 TPM 2.0 requirement

BY PASS TPM v2.0 and Enable Secure Boot in BIOS Pre-Requires (on a real machine, no need on VM) create a .reg file using Notepad Filename is irrelevant for it to work. blablabla.reg or screwtpm.reg contents: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig] "BypassTPMCheck"=dword:00000001 "BypassSecureBootCheck"=dword:00000001 *burn install .iso with Rufus *copy .reg file to this setup USB, BEFORE installing. *simplest place to copy is at the base of that USB drive *reboot target computer, and boot the USB, let setup run. *error window: no TPM *don't close that window *Shift+F10 to open Command Prompt window *type in notepad.exe File -> Open -> 'All File types' in dropdown *select the magic .reg file at base of (same) USB installer drive you created, with a SINGLE click. Don't double click. *Right-click it, 'Merge', Yes. *close Notepad. *Now click the top left 'go back' arrow on the error popup, and try again. *Setup will now continue! Thanks Microsoft for a stupid requirement.

  2. The logical way is to wait until a useful proportion of the population, especially the most vulnerable to serious disease, is vaccinated achieving some herd immunity. Good news about the Delta variant being less deadly even though it's more contagious. This is natural virus evolution, spread better but don't kill your hosts. Me, have had the first AZ dose (no side effects) end of May, second booked for the end of this month. Will try to get a single Pfizer or Moderna dose (booster) later in the year when those two become more available.

How to download a preview of Windows 11

That list, is not actually final. Of course, this is pretty confusing on its own: Will Microsoft only allow the upgrade for specific “devices” with these processors rather than all devices with these processors? Who knows! Microsoft hasn’t decided yet. https://www.howtogeek.com/739029/why-doesnt-windows-11-support-my-cpu/

How to block the Windows 11 update

The forcing people not to renew by force isn't at all better. This has been done for about 9 years now (on August 1, 2012, Windows 8 build 9200 was released). And still the sites and names are the same ones that organize this provocation and fooling people. This intimidation and other nonsense could be stopped once and for all. But not, every day comes several new intimidations from the same paid journalists. I see no reason to disable this update (Windows 11), as even now it is fully usable, there are only a few minor issues that do not interfere in any way with use. Good luck to anyone who is not going to submit to this malicious propaganda of paid journalists.

  10. It is not very long ago when they promised to make it green, but it have remained a promise. Anyway, I haven't seen it. But now that the green world is no longer a priority in some countries, there is probably more hope that this screen will turn black. It is also one of the most important changes that Microsoft has been able to come up in recent years. Ah-yes, I forgot - rounded corners are also a huge change in content. Even important.

  12. Just 1 word: money. In theory, they can just lower the minimum to any capable x86_amd64 processor, but they didn't -- for those who just wants to enjoy the new things, with compromised security. But they decided not to. Mine is older, i7 5500u -- and I'm sure there are plenty laptops owner with first Core i, and so forth. Technically they are still capable running this, maybe with some hiccups here and there, but runs.

  13. I've never used this VPN. However, would like to share my opinion on this. This is ridiculous. It's just VPN to enhance privacy & anonymity. It can be both used by bad actors & normal users. It seems we lost a good VPN. Hope DoubleVPN wins this battle. If any hacker say anything good about security of any site/tool/platform, taking the site/tool/platform down is like BS!

  14. This is surely a good news for my old laptop running i5-7200u. And if this is true, Surface Pro 5, Surface Studio 2, Surface Book 2 (models using 7th gen Intel), Surface Laptop 2 will be added to the list of supported Surface models eligible to upgrade Windows 11.

  19. This topic is a joke, right? That stupid new context menu is why im going back to Windows 10, so i can get some actual work done Up until the last Windows 11 update, you could banish that productivity sapping nonsense by unticking Launch Folder Windows In A Separate Process But now they have removed that option, and its just plain STUPID. Everytime i want to do anything useful with a file, and so much of life in Windows is doing something to a file, not just opening it, i have to first click More Options HOW does that boost productivity? Microsoft needs to stop hiring millennials who spend their days "prettying" up the GUI and who have never worked a day in their life in actual IT I want to find whoever is responsible and stab them hard and very many times

Can't download Windows 10 21H2? Here's how to get it

Not exactly the most correct. Before upgrading - or rather enabling 21H2 features - you should have version 19043.1147, ie KB5004296 should be installed and configured. If this is not done, you will not be able to get version 19044.1147 as shown in the picture. If you do the reverse, you may be unlucky in some cases/computer types, and you will need to perform a Windows Reset, otherwise you will not be able to install KB5004296. Remember, it's not rule, but on some pc's happens so. It's been all tested personally by me.

How to block the Windows 11 update

In all likelihood this 'bugging' move from Microsoft will be made after all the bugs are ruled out by the developers, so it will be welcome after that. Right now, it is still buggy enough not to be used regularly. Regards

  33. can't say im that interested. i prefer to have separate apps as i don't like the thought of windows integration running the show, recording all my data and to be always "online". i like to disconnect my work and social life, i don't want them integrated whilst this will be useful for businesses (hence the name), i can't see the need for standard users to replace whatsapp, as this works fine and has a simple UI, MS seem to overcomplicate things and then slap a price tag or subscription on.

How to bypass the Windows 11 TPM 2.0 requirement

How about the zen 1 cpu requirement; right now I'm running FX 8300s in 2 machines and a 6300 in other. Don't have any problems doing anything I want or need to do. By time 10 dies out I'll be in late 70s and really don't want to build a new pc.

Or the investment portfolios of other major decision makers for Windows 11? Do any of the companies in those investment portfolios manufacture these hardware components like TPMs that are supposed to be necessary (loosely defined) to run Windows 11? Windows 11 is a free upgrade

they still, until October 2025. Those with Enterprise LTSC versions, can enjoy even longer through extended support beyond the date, but only for those installing v1607 or v1809. The upcoming LTSC based on 21H2 update which might be released second half of this year, will also enjoy updates beyond October 2025, but unfortunately having 5-year support only as opposed to 10 year support (5 years mainstream support + 5 years extended support).
